Mr. Castillo is a disgrace to the sacrifice of the veterans of this nation...

Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill) and I have very little in common when it comes to politics, but her ass chewing of Mr. Braulio Castillo during a IRS Scandal hearing was epic.  For those of you that don't know, Mr. Castillo, CEO of Strong Castle Inc., has received over $500 million worth of contracts with the IRS by claiming disabled veteran status.  Why is this such a controversy?  This piece of work, sprained his ankle while playing football in military prep school.  He then went on to attend University of San Diego to play football, and 20 years later applied for disabled veterans status.

This fool didn't serve ONE DAMNED DAY on Active Duty, Reserve, or National Guard.  His answer to the SBA stating, "These are crosses that I bear due to my service to our great country, and I would do it again to protect this great country," makes me want to pound the crap out of something, and makes my blood pressure rise to an unhealthy level!

Hey jerk, here's my message to you:  You didn't sacrifice a damned thing.  I sacrificed my body to the service of this great country.  While serving in the Army in Korea in 1999, I found out that because of all of the physical demands put on my body, I lost the head of my left femur, had bone loss in my spine, and to this day still suffer from debilitating spasms through my back and neck.  I have had my left hip replaced, and will have to have my right one replaced as well.  I have permanent nerve damage in my spine, and will eventually have to have surgery on my back as well.  Can you guess what my disability rating was when the Army medically discharged me?  20 percent.  Ten for my back, and ten for my left hip.  After having my hip replaced guess how much I receive now?  40 percent!  That is it.  You get 30 percent for doing nothing!

Tammy Duckworth sacrificed her body, even more than I, and you had the gall to sit before her like you have some sort of kinship with her.  You are not even worthy enough to spit shine her combat boots!  You should go and find a deep hole, climb in, and cover yourself up to your neck.  After being exposed to the elements for several days with no water, you might have a slight understanding of the suffering that TRUE disabled vets feel.  Or maybe begin to have the littlest of respect and understanding of the conditions that our uniformed men and women are suffering through right now to protect your sorry ass!!!

Unfreakin believable! This is why so many government run programs need an overhaul. They were all build with the best of intentions but are not run correctly and scumbags like this pos take ridiculous advantage of it. He should go to jail... military jail, since, ya know, he served and all!

Duckworth stated that he was on active duty... PREP SCHOOL IS NOT ACTIVE DUTY!! matter of fact, I had a Citadel "CADET" disrespect me in wal-mart when I was "SERVING REAL ACTIVE DUTY IN A REAL UNIFORM IN MY BDU'S". I had some fun with him including getting his "RETIRED COLONEL NAME" just to scare him. I have scoliosis, degenerative disc disease, bursitis, and plantar facitis and I am only 30. Being in college, whether citadel or west point, does not make you a brother in arms and You did not take an oath to protect this country against enemies foreign and domestic.

Duckworth, you are a piece of work and I would use the other term but I will keep it simple. It took me over a year to get my approval for medical compensation. I have scoliosis in the lower back, which keeps me from sleeping or sitting comfortably for any given time, primary insomnia which keeps me from sleeping more than 4hrs a night, plantar fasciitis which i am currently not compensated for and i am fighting for, and degenerative disc disease and I am only 30. respect for the senator and those who experience worse. But you duckworth are no veteran PERIOD! You were a college student... that is all. You took no oath to protect this country from enemies foreign and domestic and you were never a brother in arms. I have twisted and broken so many body parts while on prior to active duty, on active duty, and as a veteran and I have never claimed anything that does not need claiming. There is no way in the world a twisted ankle decades ago has came back to haunt you. To me it sounds like you talked to a buddy who was a real veteran and found out that you can make a claim years later and decided to give it "the old college try" and yes pun intended. You are a worthless waste of space and there is a reason why, when you were asked about the circumstances surrounding your life changing twisted ankle, that you could not even reply for a remote second without studdering like an idiot and in deep thought about how to lie more to validate your bogus claim. If anyone questioned my claim for my disabilities, and some have including some worthless military nurses and doctors, I am immediately in arms and not confused in the least and my responses are quick and true since I truthfully live and sleep in constant levels of pain and discomfort. I do not believe much in karma but you sir, you definitely have something coming for backlogging "REAL VETERAN'S" claims.

Hi Thomas, I think you meant Mr. Castillo. Rep. Duckworth is the war vet who lost her legs. Have a great evening!
