Open Letter to President Obama - There is nothing wrong with Stay at Home moms!

Mr. President,

I am dismayed at your statement at Rhode Island College on 10/31/14, in regards to stay at home moms! I CHOSE to become a stay at home mother in 2002, and do you want to know why? Because my daughter needed me at home! I had just spent almost three years of her life not seeing much of her because of my military service, and I CHOSE to stay with her after I got out and got married. I CHOSE to continue to stay at home and raise my next 5 children because I don't want the government to raise them! They are the responsibility of my husband and I.

I knew full well what it meant for me to not go back to work right now, and when I come to the end of my life, I thankfully won't have to look back and say, "I wish I could have spent more time with my children!"

I am very well aware that some moms, (or dads) have no choice than to stay at home. However, the solution is not to dump more money into "high quality pre-school", but to not make parents who do stay at home feel like they are not doing enough to support their children just because there is only one income. I know many stay at home moms who, if they went back to work, would make more than their husbands. Many of them with advanced degrees. They CHOSE to stay at home, so their children didn't think that they placed a career over them.

I don't want your government run health care, with premiums that now costs more than my mortgage, and I don't want the government thinking that they now how to better take care of my children! Leave those of us that CHOOSE to stay at home, do it without someone saying, "That's not a choice we want Americans to make."

Mr. President, there is nothing affordable about Obamacare!!!

Mr. President Barack H. Obama,

Yesterday morning my husband calls me from work and informs me that our cost for our health care premiums skyrocketed from $550 a month for our family, to $1100 a month!  We cannot afford to pay that much out of pocket!  So he and our oldest will have coverage, but myself and our other 5 children do not.  I do not want to hear how great Obamacare is.  It is government bureaucracy at its worst, and my family and many others are now paying for it. Don't tell me that we should be able to keep my plan.  It's obvious that we cannot!  85% of the country was doing just fine with our personal health care plans. You and the Democrats have trashed the whole system instead of trying to find a way to insure the other 15%. I don't want any part of the Affordable Care Act. My children cannot play sports now for fear of broken bones or other injuries, and I will have to be the one to deal with their disappointment, not you!

You claim to care about this country, but you have done nothing but make promises to give everything to almost everyone, excluding Christians and Conservatives of course!  We are hurting, and there is nothing you politicians are willing to do to make things right!  You say you are not going to negotiate, Harry Reid calls us anarchists, and Barbara Mikulski called us teabaggers. Why did you call for civility in the past, when this is how you treat us? America didn't want this law, and you rammed it down our throats anyway. We are paying a heavy price, and you all on The Hill and in the White House seem to have forgotten that you work for us, not the other way around!  If this law is so great, then why aren't you on it?

How much more must we suffer?

Zimmerman is a marked man...

*This picture was taken outside of the courthouse
                                         in Sanford, Florida

Let me start by saying this:  I believe justice was served with the not guilty verdict in this case.  My husband and I have been in a heated debate over the last two weeks in regards to the Zimmerman trial. He was advocating for a conviction, I was advocating for an acquittal.  Our reasons have nothing to do with race on how we looked at this case. Death threats are already flooding the internet against Zimmerman.

I feel for the parents of Trayvon Martin. I really do. I cannot imagine the pain of burying any of my children.  But there is something that a lot of people are ignoring: Just as there are arguments that George should've stayed in his vehicle, the argument can be made that Trayvon should have kept on going home and then informed his father that he was being followed. I have two sons, and would never expect that they would assault someone instead of just continuing on to our house or the house of a neighbor.  In fact, we've taught them that if they sense something is wrong, to make their way home as fast as possible.  DO NOT confront anyone!  Let mom and dad handle it.

So why did Zimmerman follow Trayvon?  I believe he followed him because the break-ins in his neighborhood were by young black men.  He had helped the police and his neighbors many times in the past while on neighborhood watch.  Don't forget about George helping get charges brought against a Sanford police officer's son for the beating of a homeless black man:

Zimmerman helps homeless black man, homeless man's sister rally's against Zimmerman after shooting

Why did Trayvon confront Zimmerman?  He saw a "creepy ass cracker" following him, and because of his penchant for fighting, drugs, and an apparent dislike for white people (even though George is Hispanic), he confronted George Zimmerman.  The racial bias was on Trayvon's behalf.  I believe he thought he would teach George a lesson, and had the upper hand in the fight right up until George shot him. Don't forget, Trayvon was with his father because he was in trouble already and suspended from school.

There are those who said Zimmerman's wounds didn't look that bad.  Maybe not.  But as someone who has been in several fights over the course of my life, I ask you dear reader; how many times would you be able to withstand having your head rammed into the concrete before you felt your life was in danger? Just what should Zimmerman's head have looked like to declare self defense?  His brains leaking out? Blood pouring from his eyes and ears?  How about brain injuries that permanently disabled him?  Would it have been better for Trayvon to have killed George by beating his head into the sidewalk until he died, because he was only 17 and George was the one with the gun?  This was not a case of George just walking up on Trayvon and shooting him.  Eye witnesses proved that.

When the 911 dispatcher told him he did not need to follow anymore, he said OK and was on his way back to his vehicle. What George did by following Trayvon was not illegal, and he had a right to defend himself once assaulted by Trayvon.

Trayvon Martin IS NOT Medgar Evers or Emmett Till as Benjamin Crump wanted to compare him to at the press conference after the verdict was handed down!

People are already blaming the prosecutors for getting justice for young white men, and fumbling this case because Trayvon was black, and that there is no justice in the system. I would surmise that the prosecutors were forced to take this case to appease people like the woman who made the aforementioned comment outside the courthouse after the verdict was handed down.  Even the President commented on the case last year, saying if he had a son he would look like Trayvon:

Really Mr. President?  Politics was thrown in the mix, and a multitude of black democrat politicians went before cameras, and committees, screaming racism.  The police chief who said that there was not sufficient evidence to file murder charges was fired.  White republican politicians had to prove that they were not racists, and chimed in calling for charges to be brought.  Cameras and microphones were thrust in their faces so the media could verify their own righteous indignation by finding some screw up in republicans comments. Now we find out the Justice Department used taxpayer dollars to help with anti-Zimmerman protests. Tell me again how we are innocent until proven guilty?

The media wanted there to be race in this shooting, or they wouldn't have doctored the Zimmerman tapes from the 911 call. The media drummed up the race in this case, and because they jumped the gun so to speak, I would bet there will damages awarded to the Zimmerman family against NBC for their actions:

NBC doctors Zimmerman's call to 911

Many things went wrong that night.  But people should not make Trayvon out to be an angel, and George the devil stalking black people with a gun.  George was found innocent by a jury of his peers, and unfortunately Trayvon is still dead, and George will never be able to live his life without fear again.

Open letter to the President of the United States

Mr. President Barack Obama,

As the leader of the free world I'm sure you are a very busy man, so I will try and make this brief.

I am a young mother of six beautiful children.  I am a Pro-Life wife, a devout Catholic, and an Army veteran.  I know you have very little respect for the opinions or values of pro-lifers like myself, and I'm sure that what I have to say will not move you in any way whatsoever towards the plight of the unborn.  However, since we still have free speech in America, I cannot stand by and say nothing.

For the first time in our history, a sitting president addressed Planned Parenthood.  I understand why you support an organization that makes its profit off of the murder of innocent babies.  They send you great sums of money for campaigns.  I am very disturbed by your "God Bless You" statement to them however.  God would never bless an organization that has been responsible for millions of deaths since Roe V. Wade.  You call yourself a Christian man, but support the wholesale slaughter of the weakest among us. I was dismayed by your statement to Planned Parenthood in 2008 stating that if your daughters became pregnant before they were ready, that you would view your grandchild as "punishment".  I became pregnant at 18 years old.  I was a scared Private still in Advanced Individual Training.  I was 19 when my daughter was born, and not once has my father called her punishment.  I have had 5 more children since then, and again no one in my family has called them punishment.

I noticed that you did not mention Kermit Gosnell in your speech, but he has carried out the very thing you supported while a Senator.  The Born Alive Infant Protection Act that would have protected the baby born alive from an abortion, you voted down, because it was the will of the mother that she wanted her baby dead.  I did not hear you give accolades to him, or others like him.  The horror of the Gosnell trial is happening many times over in this country, and yet you support an organization that recently admitted that it does not normally take measures to help a baby who survived an abortion attempt.

You have demonized those of us that believe a little baby has the RIGHT to see the light of day, the right to life, that punishing the baby is not the answer, and then tell us that we need to find common ground when it comes to abortion.  Mr. President, there is NO COMMON GROUND!!!  Your healthcare law will impugn the rights of the religious all over this country, and you have given us no respect to our faiths and beliefs.  Abortion is not healthcare!

You have supported an organization whose founder, Margaret Sanger, was an avowed racist and eugenicist.  An organization whose very focus was the depopulation of Black, Hispanic, poor, or disabled communities.  As the leader of our great nation you should want to help those mothers who feel driven to have an abortion, by telling them that they have help.  That there should be hope for their little baby, not death and destruction.

"If there is even one life we can save, we've got an obligation to try!"  Those were your words Mr. President when addressing gun violence.  Why do you berate and belittle those that feel the same way about the unborn?

You say God Bless You to them, but I hate to believe you mean that.  Jesus said, "Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come to me: for the kingdom of heaven is for such." (Matthew 19:14).  That should be our guidance, not the blood money from abortions!  I will pray for you Mr. President, that your heart will be softened to the cries of the unborn, and that you will have compassion for the torn lives of their parents.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Danielle Denise Hollars

Reverend Luis León, a wolf in sheep's clothing...

Photo courtesy of Reuters/ Yuri Gripas

"It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back ... for blacks to be back in the back of the bus ... for women to be back in the kitchen ... for immigrants to be back on their side of the border,"
Read more at http://www.christianpost.com/news/obama-attends-easter-service-pastor-accuses-conservative-christians-of-racism-in-sermon-92986/#GB1Jicd8Zf25Ecqb.99

These caustic words were spoken by Reverend Luis León (I cringe to even repeat that title for him), of St. John's Episcopal Church, Washington D.C., and he is nothing short of a disgrace to the men of the cloth.  This church which is known as the 'church of the presidents', was apparently turned into a one man pep rally for the president and the first family.  He took the holiest day of the Christian calendar,  Easter Sunday, the day of Jesus' resurrection, to condemn republicans and the "religious right".  He pandered to Obama once again, and of course Obama sat there and listened to it.  Why?  Because that's what he and his wife believe, so of course they didn't get up and leave.  Then again, to show their respect for the Easter season, the White House did release a statement celebrating Cesar Chavez before sending out an Easter proclamation.

By the way, where is the left's outrage?  I'm sure if that same man said something along the lines of, "Christians should come back to where God wants us, and decry the horrors of abortion, and defend life" there would be mass hysteria on the left.  Oh that's right, because it was against Christians and the "right", there will be once again, crickets chirping...

Mr. León, Easter Sunday is NOT the day of partisan politics.  It is NOT the day to get up on a high horse and spout your bitter rancor all over the place.  It is NOT the day for kissing the president's behind.  You have the duty to lead your flock, and you have led them astray, including the Obama children.  Easter Sunday is the day to give glory to God, and you sir, failed miserably in that mission.

"I just voted for him (Obama) because he's black"

*Warning: Foul language

No, I didn't, but America, we are in trouble.  Jimmy Kimmel has a segment of his show where he has his team go out on the street and ask about events that never happened, but to seem informed, people lie saying they had watched some random event.

Exhibit A:  People claiming they had watched the inauguration BEFORE it happened:

Exhibit B: Even more people claiming to have watched the Super Bowl before it happened:

Exhibit C:  Finally, the ultimate in stupidity (pay particular attention to the last answer given):

What pisses me off to no end, is the fact that the woman who gave the very last answer in the last video says how she only voted for Obama because he is black!!!

She couldn't give a damn what his policies were, but because he's a black democrat, then it's all gravy right?!?  How many times over have we heard this answer?  How many times were we called racists, and in my case, a sell-out, for mentioning this very point?  Her vote cancelled out mine, and the fact that that was her answer is a disgrace to herself, the black community, and America as a whole.  I was called ignorant, and a fucking moron, for pointing out that so many blacks only voted for Obama because he's a black democrat.  I pointed out how there are many whites who voted for him, because they had a sense of "White Guilt".  This woman in two sentences says what I've been yelling about for 4+ years now.  The people in these videos vote, and have proven that they don't pay attention.  How are you feeling knowing that they will cancel out YOUR vote next time around, because the conservative base will sulk and stay home if they are still licking their wounds from this last election???  This shouldn't be a conservative or liberal problem, or a black, white, or red problem, but the fact is, this is what the democrats have reduced us to.  Get informed!  This is an AMERICAN problem, WAKE UP AMERICA!!!

Guns, our children, and safety in schools...

First I would like to start off by wishing everyone a Happy and blessed New Year!  The flu has now passed through my house, and my bronchitis is gone, so I can now get back to work!  So, where were we?

Ah yes, "gun control."  There has been a lot of heated debates about allowing guns to be carried in schools by someone other than the police. I for one am OK with that. No one can protect my children like I can, however, I would hope a properly trained school staff member could do the job if need be.  I am perfectly fine with a teacher who is trained with pistols and revolvers, be allowed to carry them on their bodies while in the classroom. There are a good deal of teachers who are former military, police, or security. I honestly believe that if the principal of Sandy Hook had been armed, that that morning might have went very differently. If she could have met the attacker with equal force instead of trying to lunge at him with only her body, she might've very well shot him dead right there, or at the very least wounded him enough to disable him. The only thing a "Gun Free Zone" does is tell the bad guys where they can go to kill a large amount of people in a short amount of time.

As a military vet, and an expert shooter, I refuse to feel like fish in a barrel, just sitting and hoping and praying that some fool isn't having a bad day and decides to shoot up a place where we can't defend ourselves.  As an aside, it only takes a few seconds for the enemy to eject a magazine, and slap another in its place, so to say, "Well we'll just limit the legal gun holders capacity to seven rounds," is dangerous and foolhardy.  Tell the mother who was recently defending herself and her children, that seven rounds is enough.  She had a six shooter. She missed him once, then proceeded to pump 5 rounds into the intruder of her home, and he still walked away.  If she would've needed a seventh round... well, I don't need to say what could've happened.

I have also heard the arguments for and against having only armed guards on campuses. I've actually heard people say that an armed guard or teacher may go crazy, and start shooting up the school.  Guess what folks, if they wanted to do that, there is nothing that can stop them.  However, I don't hear of stories of teachers or security guards walking into their classrooms and shooting up their students.  So let's set that argument aside shall we?  By the way, Columbine did have an armed guard, and unfortunately he wasn't able to hit either student that was firing on their fellow classmates.  To me the answer is for the bad guys not to know which classroom might have an armed teacher on the other side of the door willing to blow the head off of said attacker to protect the lives of their students.

The president using children in the background during the signing of his executive orders made me sick to my stomach today.  I can't take a man serious who let his Attorney General run the Justice Department into the ground with the scandal of Fast and Furious, try and tell us the importance of proper gun guidelines.  And enough with this "military style assault weapons" crap.  I could use a baseball bat and assault someone.  Are we going to rename bats, assault bats?  Of course not.  He has also accused republicans of politicizing the shooting, then he turns right around and politicizes it himself.  Keep children out of your photo op Mr. President.  I also don't agree with the NRA coming out with the ad that they did.  The Obama children are not pawns either.  Let them be children!!!

Personally, if I were someone wanting to kill people on a school campus, I might take a pause knowing that anyone in the building could be armed, and that I may not ever make it to my target.  Trying to limit law abiding gun owners, and trying to limit someone's ability to defend themselves and others just to make up for the atrocity committed by a mentally ill person, won't save anyone.  The only thing it will lead to is more bloodshed...

“First of all, give an honor to God and our Lord and Savior Mitt Romney, Mitt Romney.”

My goodness, could you imagine the uproar, and cries of blasphemy from the left if someone said this of Mitt Romney after he was just elected president? Can't you just hear the liberal outrage if some famous conservative uttered these words:

So why are we not supposed to be angry about Jamie Foxx saying this asinine comment? We're supposed to be good little Christians, and sit in the corner and keep quiet? Nope, not happening. Now I've heard people say today that he was just kidding. Yeah, uh huh, that's why he said it twice, and asked the crowd to stand up in support of Obama. On the happen chance he was kidding, here's the thing Jamie, you don't kid about something like that. To those of us of Christian faith, to say anyone is our Lord and Savior other than Jesus Christ is blasphemy! What really floored me was the crowd's reaction...people clapped when Jamie mentioned God, and screamed and cheered for Obama...something is terribly backwards here. Oh, that's right, we're old-fashioned, bigoted, racist, homophobes, who apparently bludgeon people over the head with our faith, and can't criticize anyone who openly mocks our faith!

Let me give you all a few more examples of why this is such a big deal:
The painting below of Obama being crucified will be shown at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, by "artist" Michael D'Antuono, who claims his intent is to not compare Obama to Jesus. Really? Sure looks that way to me.

Not to mention this little beauty which was sold outside of the 2012 Democratic National Convention:

Then again maybe that is why Obama didn't mention God in his Thanksgiving Day comments, because some already think of him as a type of god, and he is starting to believe it. Here is a great website that shows a great deal of examples of people deifying Obama; so when Jamie Foxx says Obama's our Lord and Savior, we're going to get angry. There is only ONE Messiah, only ONE Lord and Savior, and he IS NOT OBAMA!!!

The Sympathizer-In-Chief is at it again...

~Getty Images

I was not initially going to comment about Huma Abedin, the wife of the disgraced Rep. Anthony Weiner, but this crap about her probable family ties with the Muslim Brotherhood is really ticking me off! Why she is in a position of influence to the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and there are possible ties to the MB is beyond me, considering that when I applied for my first security clearance (Top Secret - SSBI) at 18, the government not only looked all the way back into my childhood (my family was stationed in Turkey for two years from my ages 7-9), they also looked 5 layers deep into my dad, stepmother, grandparents, friends, and neighbors lives. Why? To see if there is any chance of me being bribed, blackmailed, or abducted for national security reasons. They look at EVERYTHING!!! Anyone who went through this process knows what I'm talking about. So why pray tell is our illustrious Commander-In-Chief, once again bowing down to Muslim insecurities, and snubbing his nose at other people of faith? And don't give me any crap about how Islam is a religion of peace. I lived in a Muslim country for two years, right across the street from a Turkish school. I know what they taught there, and trust me when I say, we are the infidels, and they want to dominant by submission or by the sword. He is a sympathizer to their cause, and God forbid he offend them in any way. I'm completely ticked at his hosting yet another Ramadan dinner and this year praising Huma as an "American Patriot", while telling those of Christian faith to shove it. If he wonders why people don't believe he is the Christian he claims to be, it's because he doesn't carry himself as a Christian does.

Rep. Michele Bachmann is doing her job in looking into this, and this nation should be thanking her, not ignoring the warning signs again!!! Will someone please remind me again why the president needed to fundamentally transform America, if he was supposed to take the utmost pride in our nation? Why did he spend his first six months telling the world what a mean country we are, and that we are no longer a super power? Why is it his wife can say that this is a downright mean country, and that the only reason she is proud of America now, is because her husband is President of the United States, and we're just supposed to be in awe of her and deal with it? If we're so horrible and mean, and intolerant, then please President Obama and First Lady, pack your bags and get ready to vacate 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. While you're at it, read Vince Flynn's first book, Transfer of Power. It is a perfect example of what happens when you let the wrong people get too close. Huma and her family are the wrong people, and you are too blind to see it. You Mr. President and your policies are putting us in danger, and because you can't stand us stuffy, hateful, bigoted, homophobic Americans, who cling to our bibles and our guns, please leave and don't let the doors of the White House hit you on your way out...

This is absolutely pathethic!

How much more pathetic can the Obama administration get, by asking people to give to the Obama 2012 campaign in lieu of gifts for a wedding, birthday, or anniversary? Like he doesn't have enough damn money already.

You know Mr. President, us average people may want those gifts to help out in our lives, you know since we're not millionaires. You know those evil rich people you demonize one second, then have your hand out for their money the next? Yeah, we're not them.

What a disgrace! Maybe I should donate my children's birthday gifts to Romney, then he can use the proceeds from those items for his campaign! What a great idea!!! *I'm being sarcastic of course!*

Bedroom Slippers to Marching Shoes?!?

OK Black folks... I hope you got all of that "First Black President" thing out of your systems, because this is what the President of the United States really thinks of you:

Now I'm trying to remember; did he speak this way to the Gay and Lesbian community? Nope! How about the Hispanic community? Nope again! Maybe he spoke this way to the labor unions? No, no I don't remember him telling the unions to take off their bedroom slippers, and to stop complaining. Now the CBC has said the most deplorable things in the past two years when it concerns Republicans, Tea Partiers, and Conservatives. Now they are up in arms because Obama talks down to them. I have three words for them: Get Over It!

He doesn't give a crap about how much blacks are suffering, or maybe he would've stopped by one of these neighborhoods during his "please ignore my poll numbers tour" last month. I hope that the people that voted for him are now realizing that he only cares about his own self interest, and getting reelected. He felt he could talk to them like that, because they "look" like him, even though he is constantly ignoring the strong Christian values that many black people hold. This is why it is not the color of one's skin that you should vote for. Look beyond that and see what they stand for.

The State of the Economy...

Well now that we've had a unprecedented speech from the president in the House Chambers, outside of a major event or the State of the Union, I'll put my thoughts down on how I see the future going for the president.

At first he sounded somewhat reasonable.  But by the end of his speech, it was the same old song and dance that he's said every other time he's talked about the economy.  Fair share was one the first things out of his mouth as usual.  Fairness seems to be the only thing he knows when it comes to denigrating the rich, to help the poor.  The American Jobs Act, is supposedly something that even the Republicans are supposed to want to act on right now.  Payroll tax cuts are to be cut in half.  However, he couldn't help but bring up the corporate fat cats. He again brings up shovel ready jobs.  Let's hope this time the money gets to where it needs to be for these construction companies he's always talking about.

The last time he promised that jobs will be immediately available, it was an abject failure, and we're still looking for those jobs.  Unemployment insurance will be extended another year.  That is not stimulus!  How is he going to say the bill will be paid for immediately, then turn around a say that it will be paid for as soon as Congress finds more spending cuts somewhere else.  Once again he's expecting the wealthy to do their fair share, to help those who can not find work.  Still not sure how he plans on implementing just how much more the wealthy needs to pay to get to their "fair share" amount.

I'm sick of hearing Warren Buffett's name every damn time he talks about the economy.  Soak the rich blah, blah, blah.  The government also needs to stay away from the housing market.  He also can't talk about working with businesses, when he just called some of those same businesses greedy.  The only one putting a burden on businesses is HIM!!!  The First Lady looked like she'd rather be shopping, than sitting in chambers.

He sees his future as having another term as president going down the drain.  Tonight's speech didn't help him any.  This was a huge waste of time, and now I'm going to watch football.

The non-apology apology...

On Tuesday Ed Schultz from MSNBC, who finds a race issue in anything that involves President Obama, showed the following where he tried to implicate Governor Perry as a racist:

Now that just warms your heart doesn't it? This race-baiting, conservative woman hating, "I-think-I'm-smarter-than-I-really-am" jerk, should've been permanently yanked off the air after calling Laura Ingraham a "Right Wing Slut". Just imagine for a moment if a conservative host said anything like this on air (aside from Imus, who apologized and was still fired). Can you picture it? Of course not, because the liberal media has no room for giving leeway, the way they always excuse their own behavior.

Now yesterday, Schultz said this, "Last night we played a clip of Governor Perry talking about the debt being a 'big black cloud' over this country. We did not present the full context of those statements and we should've...no doubt about it, it was a mistake and we regret the error. On this particular statement, we should not have included it in our coverage of his overheated rhetoric (emphasis is mine). That's our mistake. The full context of all of these other statements show who he is and what he stands for."

This rectal aperture (a favorite phrase of my friend Chris Plante),  couldn't even bring himself to repeat that he said Perry accused Obama of being the black cloud!  This wasn't an error, and it wasn't a mistake.  He meant every word of what he said.  I am sick and tired of the liberal media getting away with unabashed hatred, and many on the right wanting to play nice and not say anything. This is going to be an ugly battle for control of what should be the people's government, and we need to bring it all to this fight, not a bouquet of flowers. We should be playing to win.

Let this parting video be a reminder of how the left wing media will treat any conservative:

Now if only they would've treated Obama with the same scrutiny, and dedication to "journalism"... if only.

Wow the president set a new record!

It took the president less than one minute to blame Bush on a debt system that he voted for as a Senator. As usual he is blaming the republicans for our fiscal crisis, and quite frankly, I'm tired of him bringing up Ronald Reagan as a role model that he looks up to for any type of inspiration.

As a disabled veteran, I am at risk for not receiving my benefits. The president is constantly preaching about fiscal responsibility, yet when they have a choice of what to cut, the elderly and and veterans were on the chopping block.

It is taking everything he has to not blame the Tea Party members of Congress for the debate on not raising taxes. Well guess what Mr. President: they are doing what we sent them to D.C. to do. As my friend Chris Plante is known for saying, please pull your heads out of your dark and remote place, and do your JOBS!!!

Again...hypocrisy from the left

Before the bodies were even removed from the parking lot of a Safeway in Arizona, the left was already condemning the Tea Party and Conservatives for the horrific shootings at Rep. Giffords event on Saturday. And even when it was starting to be known that this guy was a raving lunatic, that had his sights on her long before the Tea Party was around, and long before anyone even knew who Sarah Palin was, they continued to ignore the obvious. There were no apologies for blaming a group of people that have nothing to do with this type of thinking. I am sick and tired of the left blaming everyone but themselves when it comes to the political rhetoric that is so heated, even some Democrats were saying that the left was jumping to conclusions on who this guy was. The left is blaming Palin, but why didn't they condemn The Daily Kos for putting up a similar photo with targets, aimed at Giffords, claiming that she wasn't liberal enough. How about the comment left by BoyBlue on the Daily Kos where he claims:

Blue Boy posts apology...

This post is now taken down from their page, but not until her life was almost taken. During the Bush and Cheney administration, there were always protests with pictures of their faces in crosshairs, and people chanting, "Death to Bush and Cheney". I don't recall the left wing media saying to tone down the rhetoric. I know many who said to me all the time they wished someone would just assassinate Bush. And don't forget about the movie depicting the killing of a sitting president. Or how about Sen. John Kerry's comment of going to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and killing Bush...

Ironically every other instance of this video has been scrubbed from the internet. Why? Because what he said is an outrageous statement to say considering he was a sitting senator at the time...

Or how about the Democrat party using bullseye symbols to describe their efforts to go behind enemy lines:

Here's a few more for nostalgia's sake:

Obama campaign rally October 2008

Note the Lee Harvey Oswald reference

And this one tops the cake:

The sheriff of Pima County could possible taint the jury with his obvious left leanings, and if he's not careful, he will give the defense all the leeway they need to blame their clients illness on the Tea Party and Conservatives. In case people forgot, a nine year old child is dead. She was born on September 11, 2001, and wanted to learn more about how her government works. What type of world are we leaving for our children, when the only thing they hear from this event on the left is nothing but hatred for people that had nothing to do with this massacre? We need our leaders to be at the forefront keeping this country together, not being the very ones tearing us apart. President Obama did it the right way on Saturday...everyone else should follow his lead...

I'm fed up with this administration...

You know I try to be a pretty happy go lucky person. But recent comments from the left, and even our own President really have me pissed. I can put up with a lot of things, but to have the leadership of this great country call me the enemy is beyond insulting. I am an Army vet...I raised my hand to defend this country against all enemies, not made up ones. To tell me because I don't think the same way you do, that I am the enemy, or a domestic terrorist, or that I have an old attitude about families, goes beyond the offices these politicians hold.

This post is going to be short and to the point. I'd like to ask my family, friends, and colleagues who are Democrats to think about these few questions: One - When you hear the President tell Democrats, that Republicans don't care about their fellow man, and are the enemy, does my face ever flash across your mind? Two - Do you hear these comments and say to yourself, I believe this because President Obama says it? Three - Do you ever stop to think about those who are in your lives that might be a different political party than you, and how those words affect our lives? And four - If I were to run for political office, and someone smeared my name, or called me a bitch, or a whore, or a homophobe, would you defend my honor, or would you let it go and say nothing because I'm a Republican? I'm thinking of running for office one day, and I'd like to know where I stand with those closest to me. We can be different parties and disagree peacefully, or we can let partisanship tear this country to shreds and destroy ourselves from within, doing the real terrorists job for them.
